IDEAS FOR CHRISTMAS ACCENT NAILS

An accent nail is just one nail which is different than the other nails. So all your nails are green and only one of them is red. Today I made two examples of accent nails for you. I used my Red Kiss UV gel base nails for these nail arts.

The first nail art is one with striping tape and a 3D decorative ornaments. Everything in red so the same ton sur ton. The striping I did with metallic thin red tape. Apply them obliquely across the nail from bottom to top and fairly close together. It's best just to cut them a little too short than too long, otherwise they will get loose very quick despite a topcoat. Against the cuticle I glued a flower. First I put a drop of nail glue on the nail and then a little one on the bottom of the flower.  Let it rest for a moment and then put it on the right place. I also applied some red dots with top coat. Finally finish with a high gloss top coat.

The second example of an accent nail is a very simple Scottish plaid. As you can see in the picture, I used white, gold and black and placed them along each other in width and in length. So you get a braid drawing that resembles a tartan. What also very much Christmas to me! A high gloss top coat and ready!

Until next time!
