NEW NAILWAYS NAILS: UVGel en Stempelen

Het is altijd spannend om iets nieuws uit te proberen. Ik heb namelijk nog nooit met UVgel gewerkt. Wel met soak off gel die je als nagellak opbrengt. En een enkele keer heb ik wel een glittertje uit een potje gehaald, maar dus nog nooit met UVgel.

Ik begin met het schoonmaken en opruwen van mijn nagels. Dit allemaal voor een betere hechting met de natuurlijke nagel. Daarna doe ik er UVgel Bonder op en droog mijn nagels onder mijn 36 Watt lamp, zo'n vier minuutjes.

Daar ik het best spannend vindt, heb ik gekozen voor Extreem White als basis laag over mijn hele nagel. Ik maak het potje open en zie dat het een beetje paars wit is. Ik heb mij laten uitleggen dat dat in het UVlicht helemaal goed komt. :) Ik roer het potje goed door en breng met een kleine penseel een laagje op. Ik verbaas mij er over hoe prettig het eigenlijk werkt. Je kan echt veel beter doseren uit een potje met een kwastje. Het komt denk ik ook doordat een kwastje natuurlijk ook heel anders werkt dan een penseel. Ik zie meteen wel dat ik twee laagjes wit moet gaan gebruiken om het goed te laten dekken. Beide laagjes doe ik 4 minuten onder de lamp.

Daar ik wit wel heel wit vindt, heb ik een heel dun laagje gouden acrylverf, rich gold over mijn de nagels aangebracht. Dit laat ik goed drogen. Daarna stempel ik met nagellak, Nailways Baroque, Rococo en een Pueen SE plate bloemen op mijn nagels. Wat ben ik toch een fan van die kleur stempel nagellak.

Mijn tweede verbazing komt als ik Nailways UVgel Topcoat op mijn nagels heb aangebracht om het geheel te sealen. Ik voel namelijk geen plakkerige laag die ik nog schoon moet maken. Met een beetje een gek gevoel bekijk ik mijn nagels. Voor de eerste keer UVgel opbrengen, vind ik mezelf aardig geslaagd. Al zeg ik het zelf :).

NEW NAILWAYS NAILS: Double Stamping with PUEEN

For this Autumn Gold and Copper are the trend colors. The best gold color from Nailways is Caramel of the Aroma Collection. A beautifull and bright gold. I polished all my nails with Caramel and also had a Caramel smell around me. Delicious!!

I wanted to do the double stamping technique so I had to choose two stamping colors. I choose Chocolate and Apollo, both Nailways polishes which also stamp great.

I used the plate of PUEEN of the Encore Collection. One has nice Autumn leaves. I stamped all the image twice, first with Apollo and after that one with Chocolate.
I finished with Topcoat. Nice touch is that I now have chocolate caramel scented nails. Tasty!

NEW NAILWAYS NAILS: Chocolate with Pueen

The autumn has arrived! So I have said goodbye to the summer and all the neon and bright colors. The autumn of 2014 will bring us nude shades, but also gold, copper and all kinds of browns.

For this nailart I used the beautifull brown polish; Aroma - Chocolate. Not only my nails have the color of chocolate they also smell like chocolate. A woman's dream :)
For the flowers I have stamped with a Pueen SE Plate and the polish Basic - Simple White.
Of course I have sealed the design with topcoat.

NEW NAILWAYS NAILS: Happy Halloween

The most exciting time of the year is coming up: Halloween! 

October 31 is the day that the undead, vampires and monsters make the streets unsafe again ....

For this day I have made ​​special Halloween nails. I started with the nail polishes Orange and Rococo half polish on each nail. Orange is a new polish from the Aroma Collection and it smells like ....orange! Then I worked with Nailways Stamping Plate Halloween and black stamping polish. On each nail a different image. Topcoat over and ready to shudder!

NEW NAILWAYS NAILS: Strawberry Roses

Of course I had to try out our new collection Aroma. I started with Base Coat Pink and then I chose the color Strawberry and made french nails with it. I finished the design with a waterdecal nailart of roses.
I think a very simple and elegant look. And I love the red nailpolish. This one will come back in future designs ;)
